B2B Conversion Copywriter (Contract / Freelance)

GET LIFT is looking for a seasoned, contract B2B copywriter to join our virtual agency team in support of our largest financial client. This copywriter must be able to deliver strong concepts and compelling, often clever, conversion-oriented copy to meet various project KPIs while always aligning to the corporate brand and writing style. 

If hired, you will become:

• The primary writer for a wide range of deliverables that might include:  
  
  • Email and landing pages 
  • Social media (paid and organic)
  • Case studies 
  • Infographics  
  • Video scripts  
  • 1-page sales tools or other types of sales enablement
• Part of an experienced, knowledgeable team that prides itself on delivering above the stated goals. As part of the team, you will concept and regularly interact (virtually) with various in-house or contract designers, art directors and/or developers to deliver on various projects 
• A key participant in client meetings where you’ll be able to present concepts to executives and get direct feedback to your ideas 
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure alignment on copy + images + layout 
• A core component in strategy and brainstorming sessions to deliver new ideas or generate new business opportunities 
• An essential brand steward that always ensures our work is “on voice” and “in brand”

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 3-5 years of B2B agency experience 
• Experience in writing financial services copy targeted to SMB audiences and/or Finance/Accounting teams 
• Ability to craft copy that has a strong injection of energy/empathy even in the face of extensive competitors 
• A strong portfolio that shows sharp copywriting skills and thought-provoking, humorous, snappy, bold ideas and headlines 
• Confidence in presenting their ideas to groups and clients both virtually and (hopefully) in person 
• A self-starter mentality where they can take a briefing and “run with it” with minimal oversight 
• An obsession for meeting stated—and sometimes ridiculous—timelines with a smile 
• The desire to be part of a collaborative team likes, trusts and supports each other to do their best work

Budget:

• Starting out, the position would be a contract for a fixed amount of hours per month (starting at 15 hrs) depending on workload
